Ways to support the Jersey Dyslexia Association

1. Join the JDA and come to our events for free. Also receive three copies per year of the British Dyslexia's excellent magazine 'Contact'.

1. Give us a donation, either as an individual or a Company (we are a member of the Jersey Association of Charities) 
   
   We need money to pay for:
   
   Books and equipment to show or to lend to parents and adults.
   
   Visiting speakers who are leaders in the field of dyslexia.
   
   Professional development for our committee.
   
   Maintenance costs for our web site.
   
   Expenses when we put on public events such as conferences/workshops/coffee mornings.

1. Volunteer your services by:
   
   Coming onto our committee - we meet approximately every six weeks.
   
   Help at our public events.
   
   Organise a fund raising event.
   
   If you are a teacher or retired teacher and have experience/a qualification in Specific Learning Difficulties, we always need people to help with enquiries, assessments and advice.
